New Mocksville Urgent and Primary Care Center

"The Center will be easily accessible for patients and employees of businesses in the Mocksville area," said Donny Lambeth, Interim President of Baptist Hospital. There is a traffic signal at the intersection.

Wake Forest Baptist HealthCare Center - Davie will have space for urgent care services, an occupational medicine program and physician offices. The building will contain a lab, diagnostic imaging equipment, in addition to exam rooms and offices for physicians.

"Wake Forest Baptist HealthCare Center - Davie is an important part of our overall plan to improve the health of Davie County," said Donny Lambeth, interim president and Chief Operating Officer of North Carolina Baptist Hospital. "Our studies indicate that most of the visits to the existing emergency and urgent care center at Davie County Hospital are minor illnesses and injuries. We will be well equipped to handle patients, day and night."

Architect for the building is Wilkerson Associates of Charlotte. Founded in 1977, Wilkerson specializes in planning and design of healthcare facilities. "The firm participated in the recent planning forums in Davie County to learn about the needs of the community for the facility," added Lambeth.

Wilkerson is recognized for its experience with a broad range of healthcare projects, each designed to meet the unique needs of clients that "provide creative, functional solutions that are aesthetically pleasing to respect the character of the community."
