Davie Deserves a Modern Hospital
We Won't Give Up! - No Stone Unturned
On July 15, 2008, Davie County Hospital/Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center applied to the State to build a replacement hospital with obstetrical services for Davie County Hospital.
- This is the third application on file with the State for a replacement for Davie County Hospital.
- We have made it a priority to address the specific concerns of the State and the community.
Davie County Needs a Hospital—Forsyth County has 4!
Healthcare analysts have said it is unlikely two hospitals offering similar services three miles apart will be approved by the State. “In Davie County, we can’t understand why Forsyth County can have four hospitals and a fifth on appeal, and Davie County cannot have one modern hospital,” says Terry Bralley, Davie County Manager. “It is a question of fairness.”
